Loveless, Motherless

I'm an invisible baby,
thrashing on a dark mattress.

I have an invincible mother
and these are dark matters.

Tears of molten metal
burn trails down my cheek.

With the face of a pale moon
in a starless sky
my eyes long to meet.

Morning comes with no light.

I'm loveless,
motherless,
still.
